The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our staff's training, professional credentials, and work experience.

William Slotter, D.P.M.

Dr. Slotter received his undergraduate degree from Temple University, and his medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He was Chief Resident at Temple University Hospital, and completed his residency in Reconstructive Foot, Ankle and Leg Surgery at Saint Agnes Medical Center in Philadelphia, considered one of the most prestigious residencies in the country. He developed the limb salvage division of Saint Agnes Hospital while serving as Chief Resident. He has been the keynote speaker at various surgical conferences throughout the country. Dr. Slotter is recognized as an expert in his field and provides expert witness testimony in defense of other foot and ankle surgeons. He specializes in the conservative and surgical treatment of all foot, ankle, and leg problems, from neonatal/pediatric patients to the elderly. The spectrum of his capabilities ranges from the treatment of hammer-toes and bunions, to the most complex surgical reconstruction of the lower extremity (including all bone, joint, vascular and neurosurgery). He primarily operates out of Somerset Medical Center and the North Jersey Center for Ambulatory Surgery.

 

Robin J. Bocra, D.P.M.

Dr. Bocra earned her Bachelor's degree from New York University, and her medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, where she was actively involved in numerous charities and tutored medical students throughout her education. She completed her residency program at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Bocra is a foot and ankle specialist, meaning she handles all conservative treatment of the lower extremity, including the treatment of ailments commonly found in diabetic patients, such as wounds and ulcerations. She specializes in dermatology, treating skin and nail disorders such as athlete's foot and warts. Dr. Bocra is also highly trained in gait analysis and fits patients with custom molded orthotics designed specifically for their needs.

 

Nicole M. DeLauro, D.P.M.

Dr. DeLauro graduated Lehigh University with an accelerated science degree magna cum laude. She earned her medical degree as salutatorian of her graduating class from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, actively participating in extra-curricular activities. She has also volunteered her time at the New York City Marathon, annual cadet boot fitting at West Point, and other podiatric relevant events. Dr. DeLauro completed her residency training at Hoboken University Medical Center, a prestigious training program within the United States. She resided as chief resident, and received intense training in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Dr. DeLauro has also completed courses in AO fixation and ankle arthroscopy, and is currently published in the both the podiatric literature, as well as the current edition of Fitzpatrick's Dermatology in General Medicine. She specializes in both conservative and surgical treatment of all foot and ankle problems. Dr. DeLauro currently holds three board certifications.  She is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in Foot Surgery, as well as, Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery, and by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine in Podiatric Medicine and Orthopedics.

 

Dr. Aaron Bellew, D.P.M.

Dr. Bellew earned his Bachelor’s degree from St Francis College and his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed an extensive four year residency in Foot & Ankle Trauma/ Reconstructive surgery at New York Hospital, Queens. In addition to his surgical residency, Dr. Bellew has completed several advanced courses in internal & external fixation, limb deformity correction, foot & ankle arthroscopy; as well as, microsurgery at  New York-Presbyterian Hospital/ Columbia University Medical Center. He is a member of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons as well as American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Bellew specializes in both conservative and surgical treatment of all foot & ankle conditions from the pediatric patient to the elderly. He has expertise and special interest in Foot / Ankle trauma, sports medicine, advanced foot / ankle reconstruction especially Charcot deformities, wound care, limb sparing procedures, revisional surgery, and severe calcaneal fractures.  Dr. Bellew teaches the surgical residents at Morristown Medical Center these procedures.  He has also lectured to colleagues on these advanced techniques.  In his spare time, he has enjoyed being involved with Martial Arts for 15 years. 

 

Dr. An Nguyen, D.P.M.

Dr. Nguyen attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned a bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She then went on to receive a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Nguyen completed her residency at Hoboken University Medical Center where she received extensive training in reconstructive foot, ankle, and leg surgery. Dr. Nguyen is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is an Associate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Additionally, she is certified by The Arthroscopy Association of North America. She enjoys various aspects of general and surgical podiatry (foot, ankle, and leg medicine and surgery) with special interests in sports injuries, Achilles tendon pathology, flatfoot reconstruction, and trauma. Dr. Nguyen was born and raised in Chicago and considers New Jersey her second home.

 

Dr. Anna Wojcik-Stepien, D.P.M.

Dr. Wojcik-Stepien received a bachelor’s degree in Biology with College Honors from Rutgers University. She then graduated Cum Laude from New York College of Podiatric Medicine.  Dr. Wojcik-Stepien completed her surgical training at Morristown Medical Center of the Atlantic Health System, where she served as chief resident throughout her third year.  During her residency, she became proficient in a diverse range of surgical procedures including: foot and ankle trauma, forefoot and rear foot surgery, ankle arthroscopy, diabetic Charcot reconstruction and limb salvage, application of external fixation devices, wound care and inpatient management. Dr. Wojcik-Stepien is highly qualified to treat all foot and ankle pathologies both conservatively, as well as surgically.  She has completed the Baltimore Limb Deformity Course as well as the Foot and Ankle Arthroscopy Course. She is board qualified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

Sandy Reid, Chief Operating Officer

As the Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Reid leads the successful development and execution of the Foot and Ankle Center of New Jersey's east coast operations and logistics expansion strategies, comprehensive management solutions, marketing and business development, and the design and delivery of innovative health care solutions. Additionally, she oversees all real estate operations, maintenance, and management.

 

Ashley Reid, Surgical Coordinator

As the Surgical Coordinator for the Foot and Ankle Center of New Jersey, LLC (FACNJ), Ms. Reid is in charge of surgery scheduling, pre-admission testing coordination, and all aspects of surgical administration. She is the chief liaison between FACNJ and 10 hospitals and 3 surgery centers.
