Dr. Michael G. Sayad was born and raised in the New Jersey/New York area. He is a resident of Little Falls and an active member of his community. He began his professional education at The University of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He also attended Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ to accelerate his undergraduate training. He received his medical degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York, NY where he excelled in the program, graduating with high honors. Dr. Sayad finished his three-year residency training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with the added credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery at the Department of Veterans Affairs - New Jersey Health Care System, where he served as chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Sayad is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon with extensive training in sports medicine, biomechanics, reconstructive surgery, trauma management, wound care; lower extremity limb salvage, and diabetic foot care. His patients describe him as personable, compassionate, and understanding with a warm bedside manner.
In his free time Dr. Sayad enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and spending time with his family. He is an avid fan of the New York Rangers, Giants, and Yankees.
